Our 27 year old relationships with publishers and editors of the major magazines offer us recognition in this industry, second to none.

These relationships with the publishers, give us an edge as to what their editorial calendars will be, three, six, and twelve months ahead, so that we can prepare our marketing program to fit the storylines that they will talk about in the monthly editions, such as:
a) Most needed editorials on contract assembly manufacturing, PCB and flex circuit manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, cable assembly, PCB interconnects, custom harnesses, insert molding, storage devices, new machinery and equipment, semiconductors, machining, design and manufacture of commercial and industrial switch-mode power supplies, enclosures, electronic components, and other topics.

b) Offerings of advertised information via the internet (EP&P has Info Tracker) that enables the readers to request product information the same day, via the internet instead of using the traditional and much slower reader service card which takes over a week.

c) Publications have trade show issues and special tabloids that are edited for the manufacturing/process engineer.

d) Certain magazines have split runs that are just west of the Rockies for example that may be one-half of a full-run that has international circulation.

e) Most publications seek editorials on special topics that cover the stringent requirements that are already in place with many electronics and design engineer OEM's. These articles cover the nature of the relationship from the OEM and the EMS company viewpoint.

f) Also, throughout the year, publications will report on PCB design, contract assembly manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, medical equipment, insert molding, advanced packaging, underfilling, and a series of articles on cable assembly, electronic components, including the design of COB, SMT, and TAB LCD modules.

g) By working with publishers and editors of many of the publications, we are able to provide package deals of advertising for our clients, lower than the basic rate cards.

h) In order to reach the 25,000 companies who employ over 2,000,000 people, it's extremely important to reach the right people...people with purchasing authority. The magazines that we would recommend would capture this authority profile.

Our development of advertising and editorials would be sent to the proper publications that would ensure that your message will reach the most important buying locations responsible for purchasing 85% of all products suitable for use within the industrial, communications, computer and office equipment, medical, and process applications.

Five Steps to Excellence:
Clearly defined objectives are essential in advertising. Immediate, short-range, and long-term goals must be considered when fashioning a strong marketing strategy. To achieve the best results, we have devised this 5 step check list:

Teamwork:
If we are certain where your management is headed, then we are far better equipped to help you get there

Communication:
The establishment of a meaningful client / agency dialogue allows us to provide you with a strong and effective direction

Motivation:
Goals established and then attained are exciting and fulfilling, giving client and agency alike an accurate method of measuring success

Efficiency:
It is of crucial importance to keep the primary objectives in sight, and it is cost-effective to plan ahead

Good-Timing:
The impact will be far greater if the advertising messages and public relations are placed at the precise and proper time

Business Policy and Procedures:
Much like all of our clients (who have set high standards for their products and services), we at Global Communications adhere to our strict levels of creative performance.

The result is a completely integrated marketing and creative team of art, copy, account, and production professionals who work in synchronized collaboration to produce marketing solutions of the highest quality.

In order to assure proper communication, a detailed report describing the work to be done is outlined. This report covers all discussions and decisions made at a client/agency meeting and issued promptly to all those involved.

Also, before we proceed with work on any job, a production estimate is submitted. This estimate must be approved by the Client before any major purchases can be made. The same procedure holds for any media purchase.

Our billing procedures are similar to those of most agencies. In many cases, we are compensated by fee instead of Commission. (The reasoning behind the fee system is that an advertising agency should utilize its talent and energy to sell ideas to the target market rather than waste time figuring out how to sell budgets to their own clients. However, final decisions as to the form of compensation are always left to the preference of the client.)

The entire team at Global Communications looks forward to working with you and to being a part of your success.
